This picture is just precious. Kaitlyn and Adam ride in the car in car seats next to each other. Kaitlyn sits looking forward and Adam faces backward so they are really looking at each other. Kaitlyn was holding his hand. Made my heart melt!!

Darin's house, Sept. 5-12, 2009
I may be a bit prejudiced but isn't she a doll?! She was ready for preschool the day that I took this picture. She loved school and was so proud of her new book bag. She told me about "lellow girl". Lellow girl happened to be a girl in her class who wore a yellow outfit on the first day of school and Kaitlyn wanted to hold her hand and hug her. I guess "lellow girl" was having none of it so Kaitlyn told me all about her in clear detail.
Darin's house, Sept. 5-12, 2009
I finally got to see Adam, my newest grandchild, born May 30, 2009. Darin picked me up at the airport on Saturday (Sept. 5) and then, their real estate agent had a party for them at their new house. My cousin, Jan Johnson, from Las Vegas, came up to spend the weekend. The picture is of Janny, Kaitlyn and new baby, Adam. We had such a good time. Darin and Shari's house is so big and so beautiful and except for the fact that Darin is working way too hard getting the house perfect, it's perfect for them. Jan and I visited until midnight, LA time, which is 2:00 a.m my time. I must have been really wound up because I got up at 6:00 a.m, my time on the 5th to make it to the airport and LA. We got everybody cussed and discussed and finally, I couldn't keep my eyes open.

Keith's house, 21-23 August 2009
It's been a while since I blogged but these pictures are of Keith and his family, yes, even the dogs. Their lab had 10 puppies and as of the date that I was there, there were still six left. I think maybe that Keith will have their female deprived of that honor again. I really had a good time. Went shopping with Marcea and Liz, out to eat with the whole family. I stayed with Bonnie, Marcea's mother, for sleeping. Bonnie had just had half of her ring finger operated to take out some dead tissue. The finger was really looking good even though she has to go back to the hospital every day for outpatient IV antibiotics, and I think that is for 6-8 more weeks. Infections take their toll when one has diabetes. It has always made a believer out of me that you have to control your blood sugars or they will control you. She was on a new regimen for her--insulin shots four times a day. I took her sugars and gave her the morning and night insulin while I was there.

Jerrod Friesen's 30th BD
August 14, 2009--The Friesen's invited me to Jerrod's 30th BD celebration held at "On the Boarder". Micah and Stephie and Jerrod's girlfriend decorated the patio and so many people came. I love the Friesen's. They always include me in all of their parties. What a fun time!
