I wanted to put another picture of Adam on this blog but didn't have anything but the videos so I'll have to wait for Darin to send me one. In the meantime, I'll tell you about my exciting life. I woke up on July 18, 2009 to the doorbell ringing at 6:15. At first, I was just sure that it was a dream so I laid back down. Of course, it rang again. When I finally got enough presence to answer it, my neighbor told me that I had a geyser in my front yard. A water main had broke under my driveway and had pushed its way out to the right of the curb. By the time that I saw it, it had water running curb to curb for about a half block to the west, 3/4 block to th east and since it got lower at that intersection, it ran about 2 1/2 blocks south and then straight down from my house about a block. The water main was about 5 feet down below my driveway and had broken by slitting along the bottom of a 10" diameter pipe. Therefore, it pushed sand and silt down and then up and out. Before the city got it repaired, they had hauled away 10 dump truck loads of sand and silt.

Water main break

Adam and Kaitlyn
This is the other picture that I wanted to add. I just can't believe that I can do this but Linda Brooks is a slave driver telling me that my great grandkids are going to appreciate this. My oldest grandchild
is only 14. Please God, tell me that I won't have great grandkids for a while.
is only 14. Please God, tell me that I won't have great grandkids for a while.Anyway, isn't Kaitlyn beautiful? I am so fortunate to have all my beautiful grandchildren. Adam is the seventh one!! I'm going to try to add some videos that Shari sent so you can see how Adam looks today.
Well, that was a bust. I couldn't get any of the videos to upload so I'll have to get Darin to send me another picture of Adam as he is today since he's already two months old. It goes so fast.
Adam-newborn
Is this precious or what?! Kaitlyn was in awe of her new brother. I had Darin make a 5x7 of this for me. I cannot wait to see this boy. He weighed 9 lbs. 15 oz. at birth (30 May 2009). Since Shari and Darin bought a new house, they are staying with Shari's folks until the house is ready so I made a reservation for me for a week from the Saturday before Labor Day until the Saturday after Labor Day. They will be so sick of me but maybe I can make myself useful and cook and take care of kids. As long as I can make one trip to Trader Joe's, I will be satisfied just soaking up the love from my grandbabies. I'll have to post another picture of Kaitlyn and Adam that is precious as well. I need a picture of Shari, also. She was the one that carried this baby for nine months and endured the C-section so you'd think you'd get to see her too.Micky Mouse ears

This is not my favorite picture, but my office mate thinks I have to start somewhere. So she downloaded it and I'll be darned if I know how to get it off. I am going to start blogging if I can get this all figured out. This picture was a dare from Livia. We were at the movie wearing this and I wanted her to take it off. I had to wear it in order for her to take it off.
