Jerrod Friesen's 30th BD

August 14, 2009--The Friesen's invited me to Jerrod's 30th BD celebration held at "On the Boarder". Micah and Stephie and Jerrod's girlfriend decorated the patio and so many people came. I love the Friesen's. They always include me in all of their parties. What a fun time!

I babysat with this little girl on Tuesday, Aug 11, 2009. Isn't she darling?! She is the daughter of Lisa and Michael Aragon. Lisa is one of my co-workers. Eliana has an older brother, Quinton, who is 3 1/2. I tried to get him to pose with his sister, but he just said "No, thank you" and walked away. No matter how I pleaded, he just wouldn't do it.

Adam and Shari

Here is the picture that I promised. This is the picture that I think Adam looks like Kaitlyn from the nose up. My nurse friend at work says that Shari looks really good.

Latest pictures of Adam. 8 weeks old. He looks so long. He looks like Kaitlyn from the nose up to me but Shari tells me that his pictures and Kaitlyn's pictures at this age look exactly alike. I can hardly wait to see him in person. I will see him on Sept. 5th, only three and 1/2 weeks. I'll post a picture of him and his mom. She probably won't like it but I really hit the jackpot in the daughter-in-law department for both of them.

Julie & Julia, Livia's 2009 school supplies

Hi everyone. Can't believe that it's been so long since I blogged. I guess nothing too exciting has happened or I would have been reporting it. I went to a great movie last weekend--"Julie and Julia" with Meryl Streep, Amy Adams and Stanley Tucci. Meryl Streep is so good and portrays Julia Child exactly as I expected Julia Child to be. Stanley Tucci as her husband was perfect. I went with Cathy Hay, Jayne Hermes and her daughters, Holly and Rachael. Livia said that she went with her daddy last weekend and she loved it, so any movie that can entertain an 11 year old and a 65 year old has GOT to be a good movie.

Speaking of Livia, I took her to get school supplies last night and since Vicki had so much left from last year, I barely had to get her anything so I told her that she could get a Wii game. I think that the name of it is "Sims Dogs" but don't quote me. I got a hug and kiss in the middle of Target and she told me that I was the "awesomist Gramma in the whole world." That game was worth the price and more!

Freddie's-Vicki and Liv

Vicki, Livia and I took off time on Sunday (08/02/09) to go to Freddie's for lunch. It was such a nice day and we had a good time. This was taken at Vicki's house behind her car. Then I went home and dead-headed daisies and roses in my flower bed. Not necessarily my kind of work but sure makes those flower beds look better.

Isn't he a big boy? He looks so serious. Maybe he's taking after his dad. Suppose?
